We are a highly respected and successful private practice cataract and oculoplastic surgery clinic center in Edmonds, WA, seeking a talented and experienced Comprehensive Medical Optometrist to join our team. Our practice is committed to providing exceptional patient care and delivering outstanding results in the field of ophthalmology.

About the Position:
As a Comprehensive Medical Optometrist, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our cataract surgeon to provide pre- and post-operative care to our patients. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and managing various eye conditions, and prescribing medications and treatments as needed. Your expertise will also be sought in optimizing patient outcomes, identifying potential complications, and communicating with our surgical team to ensure seamless patient care.

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
  • Licensure in Washington State
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in comprehensive medical optometry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and practice management systems
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with refractive surgery co-management
  • Experience in cataract surgery pre- and post-operative care
  • Knowledge of ophthalmic surgical procedures and protocols
  • Proficiency in ocular disease management (e.g., dry eye, glaucoma)
  • Optometric residency program, Veterans Affairs residency, or equivalent experience

Optometrist (0.75 FTE), Kaiser – Spokane, WA

This is for a 0.75 FTE position (three 10 hour days per week) in Spokane, WA at Kaiser Permanente Riverfont Medical Center.

Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group- is seeking a full-time 0.75 FTE (three 10 hour days per week) Optometrist to join our Riverfront Medical Center team in Spokane, Washington.

The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited School of Optometry and preferably have completed a one-year Optometry Residency program.

Riverfront Medical Center is comprised of Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Activity, Sports, & Exercise Medicine, Anticoagulation Management Services, Behavioral Health, Endocrinology, Eye Care, Health Education, Neurology, Occupational Medicine, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Podiatry, Rheumatology and Social Work Services. Lab, Pharmacy, and Radiology on site. Office hours are 8am – 5pm Monday through Friday with Saturday walk-in clinic 8:30am – 4:30pm

Compensation and Benefits
The entire salary range for this position is $143,751.00 to $169,119.00  and will be prorated based on FTE. Placement of new hires will be in the range of $143,751.00 to $160,663.00 based on factors such as education, training or experience.

Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, basic life, and disability insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, receive employer contributions to the 401(k) plan, and enroll in our cash balance pension plan. Employees will also receive four weeks of paid vacation leave every year and eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and will receive continuing medical education leave and funding.
