OPW Student Advocacy Endowed Scholarship Award for Optometry
This scholarship (formerly the American Foundation for Vision Awareness and Optometric Physicians of Washington Endowed Scholarship Award) supports and recognizes outstanding second-, third-, and fourth-year students at Pacific University College of Optometry (PUCO) who demonstrate academic excellence and a commitment to advocacy within the profession.
Congratulations to Amanda Le (class of 2026) — this year's recipient of the OPW Student Advocacy Endowed Scholarship Award for Optometry.
Each year, the Pacific University Student Awards Committee selects one PUCO student to receive a $1,000 scholarship and commemorative award plaque, presented at the Great Western Council of Optometry (GWCO) Annual Congress or graduation ceremony.
Qualifications:
- Washington state resident
- OPW student member in good standing
- Minimum GPA of 3.5
